Description: The Global Sustainment Aftermarket Proposal Operations team is looking for a Proposal Management Associate (Asc.) Manager (Mgr.) who will lead a team of proposal analyst, managing aftermarket spares and overhaul and repair (O&R) proposals in support of the United States Government. The team is responsible for managing proposals from receipt of Request for Proposal (RFP) to submittal of a Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliant proposal in a timely manner. Upon Submittal of each proposal the team is to monitor and support post submittal actions such as, customer walkthroughs, Request for Information (RFI), Negotiations, Certification and other action to get to award.

The Proposal Manager Asc. Mgr. will provide guidance to a diverse team of cross-functional proposal personnel including but not limited to, proposal analysts, planning, supply chain, material estimating, pricing, contracts, etc. The candidate will conduct and participate in regular proposal status meetings and is responsible for managing actions to closure.

Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives, process improvements and other duties that need to be addressed.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Strong knowledge of SAP

Experience in FAR Compliant Proposals, Programs or similar disciplines

Ability to work in a team environment
